Photology is designed to help you easily search and organize your digital photo collection. The searching is based on the use of easily understandable image filters, like when the picture was taken and what sort of features are in the image. These are things that you can more easily remember about the photo you’re looking for than say, if the filename is somewhere between ‘DSC_00105.jpg’ and ‘DSC_00127.jpg’.

By building up a list of features of the picture itself and/or the context in which the picture was taken, photology can help you quickly narrow down the number of possible photos to something manageable
